Since release in 1998, L'Aventure Winery ranks high among the wineries of California's Central Coast region. Founded by French-born Stephen Asseo, L'Aventure uses a number of blends for his wines, a fact that sets the winery apart from most of his Paso Robles growing and wine-producing neighbors. Of the mission of the winery, Asseo says, "L'Aventure is basically a family vineyard that is unlike any other in the area. I have very little ego, and I prefer to let my wines speak for themselves."

At the winery, you'll be able to enjoy a bottle of L'Aventure Estate Optimus 2017, a rich blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. This bold, flavorful wine is made with 100% estate grown fruit. This excellent wine reveals a stunning, vivid, purple color as well as notes blackberries, ground herbs, caramelized meat, and hints of chocolate. Barreled in 60% new French oak with, malolactic fermentation, adding a softer taste and character to the wine. No fining, no filtering, this wine is purely balanced and full-bodied. Enjoyable for up to a decade, you can rest assured this wine is of premium quality.
