Kate Fauvell is a visual artist from New York City. She is a visual story teller. She archives time through photographing all around her and uses those photos to create large scale photo based collage paintings.
Her work explores all that makes us human.
Fauvell is a 2018 recipient of a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. She holds a BFA from SUNY Binghamton and an MFA from The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. In 2019, Kate has a solo exhibition at Binghamton University. Most recently she has been part of exhibitions at Google, Silvermine Galleries, Tabla Rasa in Brooklyn as well as at BRIC Arts. In 2016, she had her first solo exhibition at Rush Gallery. She has also exhibited at Ground Floor Gallery; BRIC Art House; A.I.R. Gallery; Littlefield and LIU's Selena Gallery, all Brooklyn; Rush Arts Gallery, NY; and Washington Project for the Arts to name a few.
