Join Andalusia's executive director, Connie Houchins, for an hour or longer tour of Nicholas Biddle's library in The Big House. Here you will learn more about his extraordinary life through various objects on display such as a commemorative statue from Napoleon's coronation, Nicholas Biddle's handwritten Journal with his critique of Napoleon's abilities, and accompanying archives from his attendance at Napoleon's coronation. Other items include a collection of books given by a family friend that include a 92-volume set of Voltaire's writings as well as Nicholas Biddle's copy of the Lewis and Clark Journals and Thomas Jefferson's handwritten biography of Meriwether Lewis.

This is a private tour for up to 6 people arranged at a mutually agreeable time. No food and beverage is permitted in The Big House.
