The Dogon are an ethnic group indigenous to Mali in West Africa. Their art is primarily sculpture and the style is a kind of cubism: oval head, squared shoulders, tapered extremities, pointed breasts and forearms and thighs on a parallel plane.

This Dogon Couple can stand alone or be lifted from its base to be worn as a pendant. The size is 3 inches tall and it's from the mid-20th century. It's lost wax cast which is the process by which a duplicate metal sculpture is cast from an original sculpture.
