Barb Tanem stitched and quilted this quilt for First Lutheran Church in Hibbing Mn.

I made this quilt as a block of the month project. I enjoyed the fabric color combinations in each block. Though each block pattern is different the same fabrics are carried through out the quilt. The fabric content is 100% cotton quilting fabric. The batting is 80/20 cotton /polyester. The backing is 100% cotton quilting fabric.

The name of the quilt is Mercantile Sampler Quilt by Connecting Threads.

The size is 65"x 78",

This quilt was machine stitched with cotton thread.

The quilting was done on a longarm machine with 100% cotton thread. Each block is individually quilted in it's own design then the sashing was quilted with a different pattern.

The binding was sewn on by machine and hand stitched down.

Washing instructions: Wash only if necessary. Wash in a large washer on gentle cycle, dry on low temperature or line dry.

I pray that this quilt will bring joy to the one that buys it or whoever it is given to. The profits of its sale will bring comfort to those suffering from hunger.
