Donated by Ann Mans, First Lutheran, Hinckley

We winter in a warmer climate, and, before our state went into lockdown because of Covid 19, I stocked up on fabric to sew quilts. This is one of them. Back in Hinckley, I usually have a wonderful lady quilt my work on a long-arm machine, but here I was unable to locate anyone who could match Linda's skills, so I decided to try big-stitch quilting. The technique is new to me, but I've found it really relaxing. I am a long-time quilter, and I am proud to say that I have never sold a quilt. They are either given to people who are important to me or donated to worthy causes. World Hunger is one of my favorite causes.

Quilt size (exact measurements) 68 1/2 X 68 1/2
