Story of quilt: The center section of the quilt was done by Jean Badovinac, a retired home economics teacher from the Grand Rapids School
District. She donated it and all the other sections she had partly completed to a member of our quilting group. Then Lois Laleneck,
another of our quilters, volunteered to finish putting it together. Our quilting group added the batting and tied it with pearl cotton
embroidery floss. We felt it was especially important to donate a quilt this year due to the impact the covid virus has had on our country
and around the world.
