Hani Hara
"Together"
Original Art
Acrylic on Canvas
16"x20"

About the Artist: Born in Egypt and then living in France for a year, Hani moved to Columbus at the age of 11. Hani is a self-taught artist who lets the brush lead the way. "I love starting a painting without a plan. it gives my mind and heart the pleasure of working together to see what can be created."

Beautiful sensual colors and striking faces highlight Hani's work. His original style focuses on his love for freedom of style and space and his belief that the expression of art has no boundaries.

Hani loves being a part of the art community in Columbus and had served on the board of the Ohio Art League. "Having served on the board has given me a sense of the wonderful art being created in our area. The relationship between art groups, galleries and the public grows every year."

Over the years, Hani has volunteered in introducing children to the world of art. Through the Ohio Arts Council's program "Short Roy" he has partnered with school age children to create original works of art.

"Volunteering for this event has been very fulfilling. To see the kids faces after creating these works of art is a thrill. So having been chosen as the featured artist for 2007 Via Colori event, sponsored by Children's Hospital was very exciting!"

Hani has exhibited widely throughout Central Ohio over the past 15 years in various Gallery Hops, art auctions and galleries.
