This one-of-a-kind handmade patio planter created by current parent and craftsman, Jody Williams P'24, comes with a story.

The wood that was used to create this strong, heavy, planter box, came from reclaimed pickle production tanks in southern Massachusetts (see photos). When making this one of a kind item, the craftsman decided to highlight the natural tank exteriors. These tanks were up to 9 feet tall and 16 feet in diameter. They were "banded" with giant steel rings and produced food for the Oxford Foods corporation for several decades.

The rot resistant red cypress species of wood that these tanks were constructed from was harvested long ago from virgin southern American forests, and with caring owners, this patio planter will provide you with a lifetime of growing seasons.

Dimensons are approximately 20" x 40" and 18" Tall
