This is the story of how we came to receive 100,000 points from IHG Corporate Responsibility, Global Community Impact: Roger Beck is the Global Facilities Manager and has donated hundreds of hours over the years participating in food drives, packing bags and facilitating golf tournaments that For The Kids is the recipient of. IHG believes in giving back to the community and they believe in highlighting special colleagues who have contributed to their communities through volunteerism. There were 650 applicants and 5 were chosen and one of the 5 was Roger Beck! In honor of Roger Beck's volunteer efforts in 2021, FTK was awarded 100,000 IHG Rewards Points to auction off to raise funds to feed kids. Roger is a true example of putting time and heart into his local community and so many kids have benefitted from his efforts and inspiration of others to also give. The attached flyer explains how to use the 100,000 points but we have also added to the points to create a trip. Although you can choose anywhere we put together a trip should you be the highest winner! We chose early December at the Staybridge Suites in Anaheim, California.
