This stained glass Into the Light Sea Turtle was handcrafted by Mixed Media Artist Susan Hamilton using antique and contemporary glass creates a brilliant green and gold environment for this beautiful sea turtle. There's also a piece of sea glass in the tail for good luck! The border glass is hand blown German glass and the main glass is Wissmatch, both at least 20 years old or older!

Sea Turtles often hide deep inside kelp beds for protection. But this little guy is ready to venture out into the sunlight ~ sort of a metaphor for Operation Freedom Paws. Clients come to them who often shy away from living a full life, frightened of so many things, or dealing with a medical condition that few understand.

Training in the OFP program empowers them to move towards the light, and see life in a new way, with a new sense of confidence. The sea turtle symbolizes longevity, and Operation Freedom Paw's mission is for their clients to live fuller and happier lives, and venture out into the sunlight.
