Fly a personal memento in space on the International Space Station in one of Alpha Space's MISSE carriers! Launch will be on Alpha Space's MISSE-15 mission planned for late Summer 2021.

Your item(s) will launch in a MISSE carrier on either a SpaceX Falcon rocket or a Northrop Grumman Antares Rocket, and get transferred out of the ISS Japanese Module Airlock by an astronaut. The ISS Robot Arm will pick up the MISSE carrier and take it to the external MISSE platform near the ISS Solar Arrays where it will spend 6 months in the vacuum of space orbiting the earth at 17,000 mph. You can track and occasionally observe your memento after sunset as the ISS flies over your home.

After roughly six months, the MISSE carrier with your personal items(s) will be brought back into the ISS, packed by an astronaut into a Space X Dragon capsule and returned to earth.

Alpha Space will provide images of your item(s) being loaded into the MISSE carrier, images of the carrier while in orbit, and a flight certificate upon return of your memento roughly four to six weeks after splashdown.

Examples of items - rings, jewelry, flags, patches, pins, coins, stamps, photographs etc.

This flight is a perfect opportunity for students to conduct simple science experiments related to changes that can occur to items that fly in the harsh environment of space.

Your item(s) must:

• be non-controversial
• fit in one cubic inch of volume/box (a single 1" X 1" X 1" box)
• weigh less than 3 ounces (roughly weight of men's class college ring)
• be legal in Texas
• not liquid, powder, pressurized, any type of living organism, a hazardous substance or remains of any kind

Alpha Space in its sole discretion shall provide the final approval of item(s) to be flown.

You must be willing to accept the possibility of losing the item(s) if a catastrophic problem occurs during launch or landing. Alpha Space is not liable for loss or damage of the item(s) after turnover to NASA for flight and return.
