This vineyard is believed to have been absorbed and combined to become Brane-Cantenac, classified as one of fifteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1955. Fill level into shoulder.

Per Winesearcher (11/8/20): The highly rated 1998 La Mission Haut Brio, considered the 6th Premier Cru (first growth) in the Bordeaux classification, is still tightly wound and tannic today, though it most likely will evolve into something majestic in another decade, but today it was stern. A densely packed profile of mixed berries, expresso, glossy oak spices. Full bodied, good phenolic ripeness and tannic chocolate bitter on the finish.
