2018-2020

Currently I am enrolled at Columbus College of Art and Design, majoring in interior design with an interest in economic sustainability. What started my drive for art was when I attended the Barbara Ingram School for Fine Arts High School. Knowing I had a devotion to art during my senior year of high school I wanted to challenge myself more, therefore I enrolled into the AP 3D course. Through that course I found my passion within political works that questioned the status quo, specifically creating a series about "how society has affected women throughout history," The works ranging from a house wife's guide to a staggered 3D portrait. Continuing to my early education at Carroll Community College I took a printmaking course with little knowledge and it opened my eyes into a whole other realm of possibilities. Through that course I found the subject matter that resides deep with me, nightmares. Whether dreams are good or bad I believe they have information to tell us about ourselves or understanding things differently through a different lens. Now I work predominantly in wood carving as well as ink drawings. My goal is to help people open up and/or connect with something that is much deeper than taboo topics approached by society through my art. Aside from being a full time college student and artist I own two small business, one being an online shop with custom bleached-dye shirts with original prints on the front and back. The other being a freelance photographer, ranging from landscapes, headshots, and family photoshoots.
