Artists Statement
Art Experiences by ACM

I find my inspiration in nature. My color palette is bright and bold, paying attention to the glints of the unusual. My primary focus is working in acrylics including some mixed media, but I also work in watercolor.

The experiences and personalities of my family and friends are what help bring perspective to my paintings, challenging and supporting me always. They help me "see" in a different way. I was first introduced to art by my father at an early age, using pieces of scrap lumber as my canvases. He is still whispering words of encouragement to my soul.

I live-in south-central PA with my husband (my rock) where I study and grow in my art. I earned my degree in Mechanical Engineering, thriving
on the creativity inherent in technology; I continue to consult in engineering and volunteer in the community I am a strong proponent of giving back to the community and donate a portion of the proceeds to mental health organizations. My goal is to share an experience through my art- to help you "see" that moment, that color, that burst of joy.
