Artist's statement:
I enjoy the challenge of trying to capture the beauty of the world around us, always trying to invite the viewer to enter and explore the view. My landscapes are generally places I have visited, and I try to recreate the mood of the moment with color, light and shadows. I paint because I love to paint. So, there is no great social or philosophical message in my paintings; I just want to make the viewer feel good when they look at my art. If it has made you happy, I am happy!
