Born in small-town, Central Massachusetts, bag lady Julie Mollo moved to Brooklyn at 18 to attend Pratt Institute. She was always inspired by retro-classy fashion that never took itself too seriously and while still in college, started her career in stage-wear by cold emailing Katy Perry's manager on myspace and creating the iconic, fruit-inspired ensembles Katy wore during her breakout years. Eight years into her fashion career, Julie took the same shapes that covered her starlet's frocks and sewed them onto clutches at a much lower price point. In doing so, her business took off in a way that she didn't see coming. Three years and nearly 30,000 clutches later, Julie is now sold everywhere from pet stores to sex stores and at department stores like Macys, Nordstrom & Neiman Marcus-- no matter where they are sold, these clutches are sure to bring a smile to the face of everyone that sees them!
