Title: Made in the Shade

Artist: Michelle Streiff

Medium: Oil on Canvas

Dimensions: 16"x12"

Animals depicted are Maggie Sue and Weeble.

This adorable girl was rescued so thin you could see every rib. You could tell how hard her life has been by looking at her. Malnourished, a mama of many litters of puppies, and just...sad. But soon she started perking up and made some dog friends here at the shelter who she loved to pal around with. But then once again, her health declined and something was terribly wrong. X-Rays showed she actually had an obstruction that sadly turned out to be a skeleton of a fetus! Oh, the horrors this sweet angel faced! But now she's healthy and our dear friend, Michelle, adopted her and took her home. She now sunbathes on a chaise lounge poolside, and is living large.
