On New Year's Day, we rescued a sweet girl, Primera. She was our first rescue of the new year. She came to us after being found in an alley, wandering around and stumbling all alone. She had a huge, open wound on her rear end.

Since then, we did everything possible to give her a new life. We're so sad to inform you that despite all efforts, she passed away. Her body was completely riddled with cancer. We are comforted knowing she was with us - warm, safe, and comfortable during her last days. She had good meals and kind people surrounding her every day for the last two weeks.

We thank you for your prayers for darling Primera. We'll see you on the other side, baby girl. We know a lot of good dogs who will greet you, run and play with you.

*If you are the winning bidder and are not in attendance to pick up your artwork the night of the event at the Four Seasons, artwork will be available for pick up from the Pine Street Shelter starting Friday, June 18th. If you are not local to the St. Louis Area, shipping will be an additional cost and will be calculated for each piece individually.
