Two dogs ran back and forth across a busy intersection in North City. They ran into a park, right alongside the highway. Kind people came running from three different directions. The dogs were so exhausted that they huddled together to shield one another from the freezing cold wind. The Good Samaritans stood next to them and called us for help. The large bulldog mixes were missing almost all their hair and were covered in bloody scabs from their skin infections. They were one of the easiest rescues of the year. They huddled together so tightly we simply put the lead around each of their heads. They got up and walked to the rescue Jeep. They were scared and pulled back, but trusted us as they didn't know what to do or where to go.

Our healing team went to work immediately and got them on antibiotics and medicated baths. It was apparent that the love for one another these two shared was undeniable and we would have to keep them together. A wonderful family adopted them both and they have both made full recoveries!
