Title: The Revival of Willa

Artist: Nina Figgs

Medium: Acrylic Paint on Canvas

Dimensions: 30" x 30"

Animal depicted is Willa.

Another first for us. Sadly, we see embedded collars all the time. And although it's absolutely awful, we are used to seeing it. This dog, however, was chained to a fire hydrant - and she's not wearing a collar. A large clip was actually pierced through her neck! It must have been incredibly painful for her and we had to surgically remove it.

Willa's story didn't stop there! We found out she had actually gotten away from her home or taken during a break-in. She was in the wrong hands when she endured this painful experience. Her family had been looking for her non-stop since the incident. Finally, her nightmare (and her family's!) was over, and we were so happy to reunite them!
