Title: I Want You!

Artist: Ruth Barlow

Medium: Acrylics

Dimensions: 11"x14"

Animal Depicted is Brinley.

Brinley's rescue story as told by rescuer, Donna Lochmann:

"Brinley came to Stray Rescue from East St. Louis.. The house she was in was a normal spot on the feeding route for kitties. There has not been a dog in this house for years! The house is falling apart, the windows all missing, the wooden porch collapsed and steps crooked going up into the house. The house is piled with trash, an old couch, dressers and a few mattresses. I went in to put food down for the cats and saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I just assumed it was one of the kitties, but it was this small, speckled dog. She has an injured rear leg and was not able to use it at all. She stopped and looked at me, then came right up like she had known me forever. She stood on the trash of the wooden porch, looking up at me. This girl would have no problems letting me leash her and leaving with me."

Brinley quickly went to foster with one of our staff members and has been adopted to her loving, forever home!
