Animal Depicted is Adonis.

Sometimes a very special dog will arrive and just steals your heart the moment you lay eyes on him. That was Adonis for us.

He was a special needs boy who was looking for a very special kind of home. He was in another shelter and going to be euthanized so we pulled him to give him the care he needed. We're told he came into the shelter with his best friend, a support dog, but they had been separated. :(

This guy is definitely a character and cracked us up daily! He is visually impaired and has some neurological issues. Even though he is full grown, he acted like a puppy. He would come after us to play but would run into our legs and would be mouthy and bite our hands. He loved to chew on shoes, even if they were still on your foot. After that, we started to refer to him as "Puppy Shark!" He would make us giggle all day every day.

He loved to cuddle with stuffed animals and would sleep so soundly. We would pet his beautiful soft head while he slept. Then it happened. The perfect family came in and adopted him! They built ramps at their house so he could run around without any trouble. They even have another dog for him to cuddle with. We're told he is doing amazing and they can't imagine their life without him!
