Title: Dino the Gentleman

Artist: Nina Figgs

Medium: Acrylic on Canvas

Dimensions: 16"x20"

Animal depicted is Dino.

You don't typically think of a big dog as a scaredy cat! But our boy Dino was frightened of pretty much everything. He was found hanging out on a patch of grass behind a church. The caller had reported him there for a few days. He just felt safe and didn't want to go anywhere! He wasn't hard to get a leash on, but convincing him to get in the jeep took a bit of coaxing. He would not jump in back, so he slinked his way onto the front seat and rode there the entire way to the shelter. Although he is easy to walk on leash, he does not walk with confidence and every single noise he hears makes him jump. This big, lovable boy could not be any sweeter, but something in his past makes him scared of everything he encounters.
