Artist: Ted Rubright

Medium: Mixed Media on Paper

Dimensions: 11"x14"

Animal Depicted is Nero.

This poor baby was absolutely terrified when we rescued him. He was laying in the road when our rescue team pulled up - we actually thought he had been hit by a car and passed away. But when we got up closer, he completely freaked out and took off. He had no idea what a leash was and was even more scared when we got it on him, but we kept telling him we are good people and we will never hurt him, which seemed to calm him down a bit. We were able to get him in the rescue jeep and to the clinic, he was not injured just hopeless and scared. Once he realized he was safe and surrounded by love, this boy turned out to be one big sweetheart and was quickly adopted into a loving home!
