You plus one guest will experience a day of realistic training and unforgettable activities as you spend the day training with Escondido Police Officers and Firefighters.

The Police Training portion consists of an exciting day at the Range. You will have the opportunity to experience police firearms training, very similar to what police officers receive. Under the guidance of experienced Police Range Masters, you will also be able to fire several different firearms.

The Fire Training portion consists of a half day at their Fire Training Tower facility. Learn how to deploy a fire hose under simulated fire conditions, fight a simulated vehicle fire and take a detailed tour of Escondido Fire Station #1.

Lunch is included! Guns and Hoses event is hosted bi-annually, usually in April and November. The certificate is valid for one-year from date of issuance. Date issued is August 19, 2020. Due to Covid-19, the event dates are to be announced for the year and the certificate's expiration date will be extended if necessary.

Please note:

• The winning bidder is entitled to bring one guest, who may also participate in the event.
• Participants have the option to participate fully or observe any of the events, as they feel comfortable.
• Children 14 and older may participate as long as a parent or legal guardian accompanies them.
• All participants are subject to background check and must sign a waiver prior to attending.
• No weapons are allowed at this event. Restriction applies to pocketknives as well.
