The Wish Log Ceremony is on Wednesday Night at Camp. This special night provides an opportunity for campers and volunteers to place their wish log(s) on the fire silently, or share their wishes with the Camp Dreamcatcher Family.

Patty Hillkirk had the dream of creating a therapeutic community for children impacted by HIV/AIDS in 1995. Her friends Charlotte Bartlett and Mariah Fenton Gladis encouraged her to make her dream into a reality. A small group of hard working, concerned community members quickly joined the group and Camp Dreamcatcher was launched in January of 1996.

Founder Sponsors will honor the Founders of Camp Dreamcatcher and their dedication to making dreams come true for children coping with HIV/AIDS. Camp Dreamcatcher has provided free programs to 5,800 youth over the past 26 years.

The Dreamcatcher Sponsor will support our Therapeutic and Educational Camp Session August 21-27.

We will provide 120 therapeutic, 50 educational and 150 recreational programs during the camp session. 100 campers, and over 200 volunteers, will participate in the camp session.
