An Heirloom antique American ornamental cast iron & scrolling brass tubular double bed C. 1885.

Fully reconditioned, repainted & patinated, brass burnished & lacquered. This bed is SOLID!

Weighing in at over 200 pounds! The head & foot boards have cast winged griffins & acanthus leaf ornamentation.

50 + hours was spent reconditioning this bed. This bed was likely made by Chas Pratt Rogers & Co. - NYC Est. 1855. Rogers supplied beds to the social elite of NYC. Rogers furnished major NYC luxury hotels: Waldorf-Astoria, St. Regis, Hotel Manhattan, Holland House, & other fine hotels in the USA.
