This large macramé wall hanging was made by Alison Bank of Valleys + Rivers Handmade. Inspired by the beauty and architecture of the building, each design aspect of this gorgeous piece connects to MuseumLab. The piece features three semi-circles that represent the three archway motif found throughout the building. The central accent arch represents the terracotta tiling in the main entryway. The muted blue spirals signify the four walls of the building, drawing inspiration from the spiral staircase. Finally, the yellow detailing embodies the sun beams streaming throughout the building.

This wall hanging is made of 100% cotton cord and is hung on a piece of driftwood collected from the Chesapeake Bay. The piece measures approximately 33 inches across by 40 inches tall, including dowel and hanging cord (macramé portion measures 23 inches x 28 inches).
