2017 Wines of Substance "Cs" Washington Cabernet Sauvignon
Charles Smith, Winemaker/Poet/Capitalist says "Opaque, deep, dark and dense. Ya, this Cabernet Sauvignon has astounding depth in color and flavor. Blackberry, black plum, cigar box. Silky smooth and continuing long with pencil lead and wet earth. With a finish that says WTF. Okay... Look that one up. Tremendous."
2015 Alexander Valley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
Aromas of dark fruit, blackberry, cherry, cassis, plum, vanilla and a slight cocoa and chocolate note. In the glass, there are rich flavors of plum, cherry, cassis, blackberry, spice and chocolate. This is a smooth wine with medium body, nice balance and a long finish.
2017 My Favorite Neighbor Harvey & Harriet Red Blend
Jeb said it! 95 POINTS - "Named after winemaker Eric Jensen's parents, the 2017 Harvey and Harriet is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, and the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec. It offers a richer, powerful style as well as Napa Cabernet-like notes of black and blue fruits, scorched earth, crushed rocks, and violets. Rich, full-bodied, beautifully concentrated, and voluptuous on the palate, it's more approachable than the flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, but I wouldn't bet against it aging just as long." Jeb Dunnuck
