About Charlie Brown:

Charlie Brown was a National Outdoor Leadership School horse before joining us in 2015. Charlie Brown is a jack of all trades with his impeccable ground manners, stocky stature, and experience on the trail. Charlie Brown is also our main horse for use with the hydraulic lift. His dashing good looks, willingness to please, and gentle heart wins over all of his riders.

About the Artist:

Born and raised in Upstate New York, Cailey joined the JHTR team in 2020 following graduation from the State University of New York at Cobleskill where she earned her bachelor's degree in therapeutic riding. For as far back as she can remember, Cailey has had a passion for horses and art. When she was a child, should would spend hours learning various mediums from her grandmother-- a professional painter--from painting a small birdhouse to sketching a horse for the first time. In high school, Cailey excelled in art. Through multiple courses she was given the opportunity to explore a variety of techniques and approaches. It quickly became apparent that Cailey's specialty is horse head shots using graphite pencil and charcoal. Her highly detailed, realistic portraits are both stunning and brought to life by her passion for these magnificent creatures.
