Team JHTR Volunteers

Martin Luther King Jr. once asked "Life's most urgent question is: What are you doing for others?" Nowhere is this answered more eloquently than among the hundreds of volunteers at Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding, whose efforts bring the JHTR mission to life.

For nearly three decades, JHTR volunteers have been instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our riders. Our volunteers provide so much more than their role suggests, consistently lending a helping hand without hesitation. From feeding our horses on the weekend to building meaningful relationships with participants and their families, our volunteers are truly the cornerstone of JHTR.

We are constantly inspired by the volunteers who take a break from work, parental duties, and even grandparent babysitting duties to ensure our participants have adequate volunteers to support their weekly lessons. Through their time and energy, these passionate and selfless individuals make our organization possible and our services affordable. More importantly, it is their kindness and warmth that make JHTR not only an exceptional program, but a family.
