For as long as I can remember I was unsure what career path I would follow. However, I always hoped that whatever path I ended up on would allow me to contribute to the good in the world. Joining the Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding team in 2017 added a purpose to my life that I had always dreamed of.

As an organization, we are committed to empowering ability. Being a small part of a participant's success and growth is an unparalleled feeling. Through a powerful bond between horse and rider, we witness incredible moments every day. Whether it is a child saying their first word, an individual who uses a wheelchair seeing the world from the height of their horse, or a youth gaining a sense of self-worth that they didn't know existed, each moment reaffirms my dedication to JHTR. The impacts are positive and lasting.

As we navigate this year that has presented our world with unimaginable challenges, our dedication to empowering, inspiring and enriching has never wavered. As an organization, we have adapted, giving us an more intimate understanding of what our participants experience in their daily lives. While our services currently look different, we are dedicated to supporting the participants who need us now more than ever. Our time apart has reaffirmed the impact JHTR is able to make, and the importance of a successful return to the arena in 2021.
