Team For the Love of Josh

Josh is one of the largest horses I have personally ever laid eyes on. He is majestic and beautiful. He is graceful and full of strength. He is a "gentle giant". The first time I led him with a rider on his back I was a bit petrified, to say the least. But soon I found that he was a "cupcake" as the instructors call him. And the best part was the child on his back knew instinctively that he was being taken care of completely. My heartbeat slowed and Josh led the way, knowing what was expected of him. What a fabulous experience to be a part of! The bond between our horses and riders is an extraordinary thing to watch. Complete trust and confidence by both parties is a match made in heaven.

Here at JHTR we experience little miracles everyday. Missing our 2020 season has proven to leave a real hole in my life, let alone our horses and riders. As with the rest of the world, we are constantly creating ways to keep in touch with and take good care of our "family". The bond must not be broken.

Please join me in helping this empowering program look beyond the horizon to another year of good health and enrichment. Josh, for one, is looking forward to someday soon doing what he does best . . . loving his job.
