The winning bidder gets half of a barrel of 2019 Morgado Cellars Napa Cabernet that is a blend of grapes from the Sage Ridge and Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyards. This unique blend was created just for Uncork for Hope.. The winning bidder will be the only person to receive this unique barrel, with the remaining portion of the barrel being added to Uncork for Hope's cellar to be used at special events to raise funds for at-risk youth.

Proprietor Kimberly Hatcher has been a San Francisco firefighter since 1998 and a winemaker since 2009. In anticipation of a full life after retirement from the San Francisco Fire Department, she went in search of wine knowledge and found a wonderful community willing to point me in the right direction. Once she got the thought in her head to try her hand at wine making, the pieces just seemed to fall into place. She works with premier vineyards in both Sonoma County and Napa and works closely with farmers who understand the winemaking side of vineyard management and don't mind when I walk the rows day after day. She learned from Russell Bevan, one of the best of the business, but has been able to make her own mark, making beautiful wines that will leave you asking for more.
