You'll be fishing the inshore and nearshore waters of Sarasota and Bradenton for snook, redfish, trout and tarpon aboard a custom Pathfinder 2600HPS powered by the reliability of a 300 HP Yamaha Outboard!

Captain Leiza Fitzgerald is a licensed charter captain, prize winning redfish, kingfish & tarpon tournament angler, television, radio and podcast show co-host, "Top Gun" fishing instructor, fishing coach, plus she authors national and local magazine and newspaper fishing articles. Leiza was named by Salt Strong as one of the top 12 lady anglers in Florida, and Wildlife Enthusiast Magazine named her one of North America's 30 most influential women in fishing (top 5 in Saltwater) in 2019. In 2014, she joined Coastal Conservation Association, the state's leading organization dedicated to marine fisheries conservation, habitat restoration, education and advocacy. In the last 10 years, CCA Florida has combined their contributions with their partners and the National Building Conservation Trust contributions and leveraged those to over $4.8 million dollars in habitat restoration in Florida waters. As the Director of Florida STAR, CCA's highest profile event and Florida's largest family fishing competition, she administers the 100-day competition, offering over $500,000 in prizes. STAR invites anglers of all ages and skill levels to practice conservation and walk away with prizes from a brand-new truck or boat, motor and trailer packages to scholarships and more.

As Director of STAR, Leiza is able to promote the conservation of our marine resources and educate the general public on how to be good stewards of Florida's marine resources while still giving her a little time to combine her skills of hunting with fishing so that she may stalk the flats, oyster bars or saltwater shorelines to sight cast whatever species of fish is biting and still call it work. You can go fishing with her but ya gotta bid!

Trip is for 2 angler and includes tackle, bait, ice cold water, snacks and a gourmet lunch. Trip must be booked on mutually agreeable dates and taken within one year of purchase. Blackout dates include major holidays and spring break. Does not include gratuity.
