Our Long Range Precision courses were created by former Army Sniper instructor,
Kenny Winn, to fill all long range rifle training needs within the Heartland Precision
Rifle course inventory. In LRP-1 we teach an attention to detail focused utilization of
the fundamentals of marksmanship as the key learning objective of the class. We then
help our students incorporate them into their shot sequence to achieve down range
accuracy. We will provide an in-depth look at ballistics, atmospheric effects on a
projectile, data book construction, and shooter/spotter team dynamics. After 2 hours of
instruction, our spotters will give you the data and wind calls to help you attain hits on
steel at distances out to 1,000 yards and further. LRP-1 serves as the introduction to a
variety of training courses from Extreme Long Range (out to 1 mile), to Extended
Range Game Harvest (LR hunting based training).
