Proceeds from Rise Up for Heroes will benefit the COVID-19 Regional Response Fund administered by the St. Louis Community Foundation. This fund is used to direct resources to regional nonprofits that are working with local communities disproportionately affected by the coronavirus crisis and its economic fallout.

An advisory committee, composed of public health officials and community leaders, guide the grant-making process and work strategically with local nonprofit organizations to provide grants to agencies to meet both immediate and long-term needs related to the impact of the virus in the St. Louis metropolitan and surrounding areas.

To date, the COVID-19 Regional Response Fund has distributed $970,000 to 33 nonprofits in the bi-state region addressing priority needs with the broadest impact.
