About the Item

This ring, made of sterling silver, takes it shape from a crystal cluster specimen and takes its attitude from the year we've all been living. It's a Cluster also features paved aquamarine. Aquamarine is a stone of courage and can invoke tolerance of others while giving support to those overwhelmed by responsibility... so at least there is a little sparkle of hope.....

The ring is a size 7 and measures approximately 1" long.

About the Artist

Carol Blumthal is a private jeweler, a creative at large, and entrepreneur based in New Orleans, LA. She has called the South her home since 2012. She spent time studying decorative arts and jewelry in Italy, a place that has had a foundational effect on her work. She trained at the New Approach School for Jewelers in 2006. Carol makes custom engagement rings, necklaces, bracelets and other pieces of fine jewelry. She is as inspired by place as she is by people, and so she uses visual storytelling to tailor each project to the person with whom she is working. Carol attempts to get to know each client; to take an idea, feeling, memory, story and make it into something physical.
