About the Item
This piece was inspired by the spring 2020 COVID-19 lock down. A series of enameled pins and other items, either made or found, were collected together and mailed to friends and family throughout the country. The last of the set of 32 comprises this donation to the Metal Museum Repair Days Art Auction.
About the Artist
Jeanne Beaver is an artist and professor teaching Jewelry Metalsmithing at Murray State University in Western Kentucky. She has a penchant for cats, vintage eye wear, punk and post-punk music, and feminist politics.
