About the Artist
Darryl Lauster is an inter-media artist, writer, and an Associate Professor of Sculpture at the University of Texas at Arlington. He has exhibited nationally and internationally at numerous museums, including the Metal Museum. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, McNeese State University, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. His work investigates the American past and present, and hinges on the tensions between the truth and fiction as it informs our understanding of history.
