Jessica Archer is an emerging artist who from an early age loved to draw and colour. Throughout her school years she had difficulty academically as she was diagnosed with dyslexia and although she never maintained the same level of grades as her peers, she excelled in her art classes. She finally got the opportunity to be at the same level of education as her peers when she got accepted into the fine art program at Fanshawe College, where she studied from various established artists such as Gary Spearin who encouraged her greatly not to give up on her dream on being in the arts. Even though Jessica still struggles with her learning disability it has not deterred her and strives to make a career in the art world. She has been very fortunate to have participated in many group shows and has been mentioned on such platforms such as SYFY and Previews Magazine for her portraits. Now into middle age, she hopes and is more determined than ever to create a life for herself in the arts, and hopes to pass on her knowledge and experience to other aspiring artists to help get their "foot in the door" as so many have done for her. She currently has a show on at the Leslie Jones restaurant in Toronto, Ontario, and a piece in the newest virtual show from the Beaux Arts Brampton- A-Typical.
