This piece by Seabury trustee and artist JEFF WEINBERG combines marble paste, sand, gilt, gold leaf, and acrylic paint on Italian linen and is as evocative as it is lovely. Weinberg's experiential artwork draws inspiration from his own world travels, literature and nature and is sought after by private collectors, museums and galleries. Two of his major works are on permanent display at the Lied Center for the Performing Arts in Lawrence. This piece is 20" x 20", and 1-3/4" deep.
'There is the empty chapel, only the wind's home...falling down falling down'
--T. S. Eliot, "The Waste Land"
