For 73 years, the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center has provided a sanctuary for wildlife and humans alike. The 400-acre sanctuary on Pequotsepos Road in Mystic provides a home to numerous species of wildlife, flora and fauna. The Nature Center's 10 miles of trails gives visitors a chance to experience nature first hand. The 45-acre Coogan Farm on Greenmanville Avenue in Mystic has protected critical watersheds and ecosystems for wildlife, both native and migratory.
