Beautiful Art Book - Paintings of the Potomac River by Celebrity Artist Andrei Kushnir and others.

Potomac River School is an exhibition catalog accompanying an exhibit at the Sandy Spring Museum, Sandy Spring, MD, with over 150 color illustrations, about Potomac River School artists Mary Kokoski, Andrei Kushnir and Barbara Nuss. It contains an Introduction by Sharon Ann Holt, Executive Director, Sandy Spring Museum; Foreword by Hedrick Belin, President, Potomac Conservancy; Preface by Frederic Shuler Briggs, A.W.S., Schuler School of Fine Arts; and essay by Michele Martin Taylor, Curator pro tem. Dr. Holt, in her Introduction, notes that the artists "reveal their unique ways of experiencing the Potomac as an intimate and engaging river filled with life and color." And Mr. Belin, in his Foreward, explains that "[e]ach image is just a moment in time, conveying the fragile nature and special qualities that can only be found in the Piedmont region of the country."
