Emily DuThinh, Board President, will give you a personalized tour of the bluebird trail at Knorr Preserve in Clarkston; land managed by NOHLC. You will see 14 bluebird houses and a wood duck house. You may see Bluebirds, Tree Swallows, House Wrens, Chickadees, and English Sparrows. Emily will explain how to identify the unique nests and eggs of each species, and how to steward bluebird houses. In 2019, a barred owl was found nesting in the wood duck house - so you never know what you'll find! This is a 1-2 hour tour and will be scheduled at your convenience during the bluebird nesting season, which runs from April through July. Certificate valid for up to 6 people.
To be mailed to you or picked up at the NOHLC office after October 19th. Upon winning, call the office at 248-795-2808 to make an appointment.
