MARY ANN STRANDELL lives/works in greater New York, NY. Her artworks are a movable terrain between image, media, and their myriad histories. She works with painting, ink, optical-lenticular media, and installation exploring concepts of location, memory, and time. Using historic architecture and cultural memes, her primary sources of traditional oil painting and drawing are often re-engineered from single planar views into the multivalent 3D lenticular media.
