Andy Cooper, wood and metal artist based in Asheville, has created this one of a kind serving board of native spalted walnut. Spalting refers to the coloration and detailed dark lines that occur from fungal growth in wood. This custom, asymmetrical design measures 22.5" long by 8.25" and 6.5" wide. The wood is kiln dried with 3 layers of protective polyurethane finish. The cleverly recycled steel forged handles are made from old drill bits that have been heat colored and feature a clear enamel finish. Hand washing and towel drying are recommended. This unique work of art functions as a beautiful serving piece.

*Not intended for use as a cutting board.
