WINEMAKER NOTES

The 2016 Sympa, blended with 5% Petit Verdot, offers notes of ripe red raspberry, plum, and black cherry. Rooted beneath the fruit are layers of cardamom, oolong tea, and warm brown sugar. Beautiful and medium to full bodied, it displays finely integrated tannin with a layered, lingering finish. Drink now through 2034.

ST. HELENA WINERY

Their estate includes 13 acres of vineyards that yield a small crop of concentrated and intensely flavored fruit. It is situated at the east end of Pratt Avenue in the Saint Helena appellation of Napa Valley along the Napa River. Their "Sympa" Cabernet Sauvignon is a special wine grown on the south parcel, "Block One," an ancient river bed where the loam has more sand, gravel and stones, causing the vines to struggle and produce smaller clusters and berries.
