GALLONI WEST-SIDE

West Side Story...

Antonio Galloni, wine critic and founder and CEO of Vinous, one of the world's most influential wine publications, created the foundational visual history of the Napa Valley with the introduction of his first seven Napa Valley AVA maps.

Years in the making, and working in collaboration with internationally renowned cartographer Alessandro Masnaghetti, the maps allow one to deeply explore and understand how the essence of site is reflected in the renowned wines of the Napa Valley.

Using your own signed set of Vinous AVA maps as a guide, join Antonio for an overview of the expanse of the West-side and delve into how the alluvial fans and gentle slope of the Mayacamas come together in this historic wine grapegrowing stretch. The exploration continues with a virtual tasting of three wines highlighting seminal West-side vineyards. Guest appearances include Andy Beckstoffer of Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, Bruce Phillips of Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard and Tod Mostero of Napanook Vineyard.
